The collection of:
Property Tax, Personal Property Tax, Mobile Home Tax, Timber Tax, Recording Intangible Tax, Hotel/Motel Tax, Motor Vehicle Tax; also, Processing Motor Vehicle Titles, Issuing Tags and Decals, Issuing Mobile Home Decals and issuing Mobile Home Moving Decals.

The Tax Commissioner's office does not set values. We collect tax on the values that are set by the Tax Assessor. Our function is the collection of tax.
